Using Templates
Once you’ve found the right template, learn how to use it and customize it for your specific needs.
Creating from a Template
Step 1: Select Template
- Browse the template library
- Find the template you want
- Click on the template card
Click on a template to select it
Step 2: Preview (Optional)
Review the template before using:
- Click “Preview” to see all questions
- Check if it meets your needs
- Note any changes you’ll want to make
Step 3: Use Template
- Click “Use Template” button
- Enter a title for your survey
- Optionally add a description
- Choose personal or team survey
- Click “Create”

Step 4: Customize
Your survey opens in the Builder:
- All template questions are pre-loaded
- Modify as needed
- Add your own questions

Editing Questions
Change existing questions:
- Click on any question
- Edit the question text
- Modify answer options
- Adjust settings

What to Customize

Adding Questions
Extend the template:
- Click “Add Question”
- Choose question type
- Position where needed
- Fill in details
Removing Questions
Delete unnecessary questions:
- Click on the question
- Click the delete icon
- Confirm removal
Note: Removing questions is permanent. Consider hiding with logic instead if you might need them later.
Reordering Questions
Change question sequence:
- Hover over a question
- Click and drag the handle
- Drop in new position
Customizing Survey Settings
Title and Description
Update to match your purpose:
- Go to Settings tab
- Edit the survey title
- Update the description
- Save changes
Welcome Message
Personalize the introduction:
- Navigate to Settings
- Find Welcome Message
- Edit or replace the template text
- Add your branding/context
Thank You Message
Customize the completion message:
- In Settings, find Thank You Message
- Edit to match your brand
- Add next steps or contact info

Saving Your Customized Survey
Auto-Save
Changes save automatically as you edit:
- No manual save needed
- Changes persist immediately
- Safe to close at any time
Creating a Reusable Template
If you want to reuse your customized version:
- Finish customizing
- Save as a personal template
- Use for future surveys
Publishing Your Survey
Once customized:
- Review all questions
- Preview the complete survey
- Click “Publish”
- Start collecting responses

Troubleshooting
Template Not Loading
- Refresh the page
- Check internet connection
- Try a different browser
Can’t Edit Questions
- Verify you’re in the Builder tab
- Check you have edit permissions
- Try clicking directly on the question
Changes Not Saving
- Check internet connection
- Look for error messages
- Refresh and try again
